LIBI_00015_00161, Officer's dress sword made at Springfield Armory. Etched design "US" and "US Armory, Springfield, Mass." It has a gold washed hilt and four prommel eagles on the guard. A wire-bound sharkskin covered hilt. This sword was once owned by Custer, given to Capt. F.M. Bibson after Battle of Washita.
