Tan bust of George Washington with classical draping over chest
Painted plaster cast copied after Jean Aintoine Houdon. According to Fanny Longfellow’s journal, this bust arrived at the house from London on 17 April 1844. It sits on two slices of the "Washington Elm," added after the tree came down in 1923.
