Marks position of 104th New York Infantry shortly after arriving to field on afternoon of July 1, 1863. 1 of 90 Mns in Park to New York commands at Gettsyburg Campaign. Located on E slope of Oak Hill, off Robinson Ave. || Mn & 2 flank markers. Rough base, 7' sq. Polished shaft w/ encircled number, all 14'4" high. State seal, cartridge box, cross sabors & laurel branches all bronze, N base. Inscriptions into shaft. Flank markers, rough, flat top, 1'x1'2'.
