In 1908 I was on the claim about eight months altogether. In 1909 I came home in February and stayed until May 17th, then worked until the 10th of September August in Cheyenne, Wyo., then worked near Valentine from September 12th until November 21st. Since then I have been at home. These absences were temporary and were necessary for me to earn a living for myself, which I could not do on the claim. I have had no home elsewhere.
