Visitors Walk Along Zion Scenic Drive, Zion NP, 2025

Small groups of hikers and bikers move along a road through Zion Canyon. Massive sandstone cliffs stand nearby, while the sun shines over the roadway. Small trees line the roadway, but most are not large enough to provide shade.

Instead of waiting for the shuttle, some visitors choose to hike or bike along the scenic drive. Water is essential in spots like this.

Scenic
