1 of 90 Monuments to New York. Indicates position held morning July 3, 1863 relieving Geary's enbattled division. Located W side Slocum Avenue. || Mn base 6'4"sq rough cut w/tooled edge. Shaft w/smooth cut stone & polished faces, excised polished lettering, bronze bas-relief & medallion. Topped w/cross-gable & pryamid cap. All 14'4"H.
