Point Reyes Lighthouse Restoration Project: Lighthouse Rafter Removal - October 24, 2018
Six out of an original sixteen white diagonal cast iron rafters descend from a central peak to a circular green ring at the top of the roofless lighthouse, which is surrounded by scaffolding. Sixteen white horizontal bars radiate from the center of the tower below the rafters.
Ten of the cast iron rafter had been removed from the top of the lighthouse by 10:40 am on October 24, 2018.
