He wears a flat leather hat and his hair is worn loose. His hunting shirt is a loose frock made of dressed deerskin which reaches halfway down his thighs. He wears deerskin breeches tied below the knee, leggings and deerskin moccasins. He wears a powder horn, a smooth leather bullet pouch, a knife in a leather sheath and tomahawk. He carries a long rifle in one hand and a clearing axe in the other.
