Eleanor’s father, Elliott (1860-1894) was a son of Martha Bulloch and Theodore Roosevelt Sr, the only brother of President Theodore Roosevelt, and godfather of FDR.
Eleanor’s brother Elliott Bulloch Roosevelt (1889-1893) died of scarlet fever at the age of four.
Gracie Hall Roosevelt (1891-1941) was Eleanor Roosevelt's younger brother. Their relationship was one of the most important in Eleanor’s life. Following the death of their parents, the very young Hall and Eleanor lived with their grandmother in Tivoli, New York.
