Brick repointing of CCC Entrance Signs at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in March 2007
In the 1930s, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built eight entrance signs for the park. The metal signs needed cleaning and the bricks needed repointing. In early 2007 a contractor was hired to do this work. These images document the condition of two of the historic entrance sign on 2007 March 26. The first sign is located at the intersection of Dallas Highway and John Ward Road. The second is located along Burnt Hickory Road.
