RESIDENCE: There are evidences that the homestead shack on this place has been used for a considerable length of time as a residence. The house is yet completely furnished and the furnishing appear much used. Pathways and other marks outside also show that there have been persons about the place a considerable length of time. Entrywoman was not on the place at the time of my investigation. John Carter, of Roswell, N. Two or three other negroes with him whose name I did not get, also stated that she had lived there for the greater part of the year during the last 4 or 5 CONFIDENTIAL NOTE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION [stamp] F-S APR 5 1920 [stamp] RECEIVED APR 8 1920 G.L.O.
