A rock fall occurred from the cliff headwall above the Four Mile Trail, above and east of the long traverse beneath Sentinel Rock. The fall initiated near the top of the headwall and fell approximately 100 m onto the Four Mile Trail, covering the trail with rocks and broken vegetation (oaks). Numerous roots were exposed on the detachment surface from a fir tree adjacent to the source area.
