Erosion control measures installed by BAER Rehabilitation Team following fires in 2000, Mesa Verde National Park
These photos depict a variety of erosion control measures that were implemented by the Burned Area Emergency Rehabilitation (BAER) Team organized by the Department of the Interior following the Bircher and Pony Mesa fires of 2000. These methods include excelsior mulching, construction of barricades consisting of fallen logs, and ditching.
