Bighorn Canyon ARRA project 2010, Passive solar room 1
BICA completed this ARRA project in 2010. Resource Management staff added a passive solar room, and a solar system that provides hot water and heat to the field operations building. The system will reduce propane usage. A portable solar trailer was also built and will be used by campgraound hosts and researchers to charge batteries for their equipment.
