Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Three Different Species On This Sheet.
The First Is Cephalozia. It Was Collected By Elsie May Kittredge On Sept. 31, 1921 From The Roadside Of The North Ridge On Mt. Tom. There Are Just A Few Very Small Sections Left, Each Shorter Than A Centimeter And Quite Thin. Cephalozia Is Member Of The Cephaloziaceae Family.
The Second Is Calypogeia Which Also Only Has A Few Very Short Sections Left.
The Third Is Just Labeled Calypogeia, Found At The Same Time As The Identified Species Calypogeia Trichomanes
There Is A Small Speck Of Organic Material At The Bottom Of The Page, But It Is Unknown If This Is A Reminant Of An Above Sample Or A Separate Sample
