Falls of Minnehaha, Minneapolis, 1940
Waterfall over a cliff, possibly night scene. Grass and bushes in foreground at the bottom of the falls. Trees in background. Two people stand at the top of the falls. Vegetation flanking the falls on the cliff.
Falls with black background, possibly night scene.
Inscription: "Falls of Minnehaha -- Minneapolis -- / Photographed in 1890 / Negatives lent by William H. Kelly, / Minneapolis Star Journal and Tribune" written in pencil by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Dana verso.
Notes: C1940. It seems "1890" in the inscription is unlikely as the two small figures in background are dressed in 20th century attire. It is assumed William H. Kelly is the photographer.
