Feufollet
The band plays onstage under an outdoor tent, with their instruments which are: guitars, fiddle, and accordion.
Feufollet is a sextet of young musicians from the Lafayette, Louisiana region carrying on long-held Cajun community and family traditions. The group performs original and traditional songs in the French language. Some of these songs came to Louisiana with the first Cajun settlers during the 18th and 19th centuries. They also draw upon a rich recorded archive and look to contemporary Cajun performers for tunes and songs. The band is very active in promoting the culture and heritage of Louisiana. Several of the members in Feufollet have participated French immersion programs at school and are fluent in French.
