Wing United States Department of the Interior National Park Service Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Wing: With regards to your letter of July 11, 1963. I cannot give you the exact cost of these memorials, however, I will say the approximate cost of each would be $20,000.00. I was very disappointed that you were unable to attend the dedication of the South Carolina Memorial as I had wanted to introduce you to our Governor and a few other people who I had told about you being so kind to us while at Gettysburg.
