Veronica Serpyllifolia (Thyme-Leaved Speedwell) in Billings-Kittredge Herbaria

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Two Samples On The Page. The First Has A Section Of Roots With Nine Stems Of Approximately The Same Length. Each Stem Has Several Pairs Of Small Leaves On The Bottom Section. The Top Sections Are Lined With Individual Leaves And Many Small Seed Structures. One Of The Seed Structures Is Detailed In A Large Colored Drawing. The Second Sample Also Has Roots With About Eight Stems Extending From Them. The Leaves On These Stems Are Larger. A Short Section Of The Tops Of Each Of These Stems Have Small Flower Blossoms Attached. There Is Also A Large Colored Drawing Of One Of The Flower Blossoms. Another Colored Drawing Shows The Stem. The Samples Are Attached With Adhesive And Thin Strips Of White Cloth Tape.
