Monument contributes to nat'l significance of park under NR Criterion A because it represents national movement among veterans & related groups to commemorate Civil War battlefields. || 7'3" x 4' x 8', monument has smooth-faced base and battered, coursed, quarry-faced shaft with lettered bronze panel. Pediment-like capstone has acorn carved in relief. Located northeast of Poe Field.
