Black & white albumen print of four greenhorn Stampeders posed in brand-new furs and coats with shiny unused mining pan and picks. One has a hiking stick and has a box strapped to his back. This is a posed studio portrait with a painted architectural backdrop that includes a pedestal and curtain to the left side of the image. The print is mounted in a tan cabinet card with "Case and Draper" printed at the bottom. "Off for Klondyke" is written at the bottom of the albumen print, probably made by scratching into the negative prior to printing.
