I thought I write a few words this after noon, that I’m very thankful that pitcure [sic] frame and with your father's picture in it, but I don't know him only the pitcure [sic] I have seen it, and I hope that I read about it, later on, I hope I be in normal school next year, but this year I’m in the Indian department. I find that going to school isn’t very easy, but I think if I have a good luck I will stay in the school as long as [p. 2] I can so I’ll be a man when I go home, this was the first chanc I hat [sic] to go to school and I’m to make a use of it, now l will close my writting [sic] but I thank you very much for the pitcure [sic] and the frame.
