Images were contracted by the NPS Office of the Chief Information as part of a larger project to add images of all Civil War monument to the NPS Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System

The structure has a 8' square base and is 17'9" high. It features a 6'8" granite statue of a soldier at parade rest and a bronze plaque on the base.
