The Sonoran Desert Network often sets up wildlife cameras on our office grounds, the Desert Research Learning Center, to see what wildlife comes around when we aren't looking. We love photos of our desert tortoise, Boss Pinkley, named after Frank Pinkley, an early leader in the National Park Service. And we aren't the only ones who love Boss, as we often see cool birds, reptiles, bobcats, and amphibians by the tinaja or in the desert tortoise enclosure!
