The USS Oklahoma Memorial is composed of white marble columns and black granite slabs. An American flag stands on a flagpole, and it is surrounded by short turf.
USS Oklahoma Memorial, seen here looking southeast, is part of the Ford Island CPO Bungalows Neighborhood and Battleship Row cultural landscape. The USS Oklahoma Memorial was built adjacent to the CPO bungalows. The memorial stands to honor the 429 servicemen on board Oklahoma who lost their lives on December 7, 1941.
