Junior Ranger, Goats and Gobblers, Children With Goats

Junior Ranger families visit with and try to catch the goats at Goatfeathers Point. This kid vs. kid activity is part of the Goats & Gobblers program for children ages 7-12. || CVNP offers a variety of Junior Ranger programs to families and groups during the summer, and a limited menu to families throughout the year. In 2007 we had a Parks as Classrooms grant to develop pilot programs on working farms on park property. This program, Goats & Gobblers, explores what a farmer does to care for goats and turkeys on his farm.
