Eastern Collared Lizard (Crotaphytus collaris collaris) adult male

A gray lizard with distinct black collar sets with head raised. Yellow forelimbs and emerald green hindlimbs stand out against the gray stone.

The flashy emerald green and yellow of males quickly blends in the dense underbrush.
