See scan of writing on the back of each image for additional details. || Built in 1938-1939 by Civilian Conservation Corps workers as a summer camp for Akron children, Happy Days Lodge is a legacy from the difficult years of the Great Depression. Today it continues to provide recreational opportunities to modern visitors, who can enjoy concerts, participate in programs, or rent the facility for special occasions.
