Rehabilitate Historic Well Covering at Forked Lightning Ranch in May-August 2009

The wood framed roof over the historic masonry well, originally serving the Forked Lightning Ranch, deteriorated and was in danger of collapsing. This project reconstructed the wood framing, replaced the rolled asphalt roofing, and repaired the stone masonry base supporting the wood framing.The project was completed by the Facility Maintenance Staff of Pecos NHP in May-August 2009.
