Images were contracted by the NPS Office of the Chief Information Officer as part of a larger project to add images of all Civil War monuments to the NPS Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System
South Inscription
U.S. National Park Service
The hammered gray & black granite monument consists of a 32" x 30" x 48" rectangular pedestal with a 26" x 20 " x 40" bronze bust on top. The inscription is engraved on the front panel of the pedestal.
