Finding of No Significant Impact on the Environmental Assessment for Continuation of a Wildland Fire Suppression and Prescribed Wildland Fire Program at Congaree National Park
National Park Service (NPS) policy requires that every park unit with burnable vegetation develop a fire management plan. The fire management plan serves as a detailed and comprehensive program of action to implement fire management policies and objectives, consistent with the unit's resource management objectives. This documents the decision to continue a wildland fire suppression and prescribed wildland fire program at the Congaree Natioal Park, as proposed in the Congaree National Park Wildland Fire Management Plan FY2004.
