SHEN staff sampling high elevation rare plants on rock outcrops in July 2014
These images show field work associated with a project to monitor the effects of climate change on high elevation rare plant species in Shenandoah National Park. Permanent photo monitoring plots were located on pristine rock outcrop areas away from visitor impacts. Images taken in 2010 were repeated in 2014.
