Schober, Superintendent Gettysburg National Military Park Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Schober: Shortly after the dedication of the Indiana monument, we submitted some additional proposed copy to be placed on the rear of the monument immediately opposite of the Seal of the State of Indiana. Mr. James Codori, the builder of the monument, submitted the copy to Mr. Tom Harrison for approval, but has not yet heard anything. We are therefore again submitting the proposed copy which merely names the members of the Commission and the Governors involved during the course of the operation of the Commission. We attach such proposed language. We would certainly hope that you would be in a position to approve the carving of this information on the rear of the monument.
