Historic Union Building in the Calumet Unit of Keweenaw NHP
The Union Building, Keweenaw NHP's first property acquisition, was built in 1888 through collaborative efforts of the Free & Accepted Masons (F&AM) and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) on land provided by the Calumet & Hecla Copper Mining Company to provide meeting space for the area's fraternal organizations.
