Bonanza King Mine - Cyanide Vat on Tailings Pile, 2007
Remains of a vat that was used to process gold ore with cyanide at the Bonanza King Mine. The vat is sitting on the edge of a large tailing pile that is at the head of a wash. The pile is approximately 35 to 40 feet tall and the contaminated sediment is moving downstream.
