agent on February 8, 1919, and the report was transmitted to this office on February 19, 1919, advising that the land is agricultural land and chiefly valuable for grazing purposes; that the entire tract is flat land and the surface has considerable amount of small gravel and stone; that residence was established February 11, 1915, with his family and he has resided there continuously since that date. Prior to establishing residence on the date above mentioned the claimant resided on the land at infrequent intervals. Cultivation consisted of plowing and planting a patch of land 410 X 250 feet in the SE ¼ SE ¼ Sec. 35. It appears that this patch of ground was broken in the season of 1914 and the claimant alleges an attempt to cultivate it each year following and including the year 1917, but on account of the drouth no crops were raised. Improvements consist of two room frame house, with porch, barn covered with sheet-iron, frame buggy shed, cellar and storm house, these improvements are on the SE ¼ SE ¼ and are inclosed with a two-wire fence.
