Rec Fee Project: Design And Install Security Systems at Battery Cavallo & Battery Duncan

Description:

Implementation of the project will enhance the visitor experience and rehabilitate significant cultural resources, by readying two of the most significant and intact seacoast fortifications in the park for visitation. Implementation of the project will include reversal of the effects of many years of grafitti attacks on Battery Cavallo which have left the battery in a deteriorated condition that is not suitable for visitor contact. Implementation of the project will also stabilize Battery Duncan so that similar grafitti attacks that might occur in the future are forestalled.
