A western side-blotched lizard, roughly the size of a regular sharpie. It has a mostly brown body, dull tan stripes running from head to tail, and a distinct black blotch behind the front limbs. It is laying on a textured tan rock under bright light. In the background, behind the rock, is a variety of desert grasses and trees. A blue, cloud-less sky above.
