CL-215 used on Robert Fire, Glacier National Park
Airtankers are used to fight large fires. The CL-215 is a large, Canadian-built amphibious aircraft that skims the surface of a lake scooping up water to drop on the fire. This aircraft belongs to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
