Jumonville Glen Unit - Fort Necessity National Battlefield

Jumonville Glen is the site of a skirmish between a French patrol commanded by Ensign Jumonville and Virginians commanded by Lieutenant Colonel George Washington and Seneca allies on May 24, 1754, six weeks before the Battle of Fort Necessity.
