Corcoran in right background with negro sailor's left hand on shoulder."[CR]"This picture shows some of the crew and officers and apprentices of the British steel full-rigged ship RATHDOWN. Six months voyage around the "horn" to San Francisco from Belfast, Ireland 1892. Crew was mostly colored. Officers and apprentices white."
